You know….., Bush’s whole shoe-ducking-debacle is really no laughing matter. Seriously, what if next time it isn’t an innocent little pair of size 9 loafers? What if next time it’s an enormous pair of size 13 Doc Martens? Think about it. And what if next time the assailant throws in some witty one-liner just to add insult to injury. I can picture the whole sad scene in my mind. “Dodge this!”, …wham! Scary, scary stuff.

But show it from the perspective of a WoW player……..now that’s funny.

Look Maliki, sitting there all AFK-like. Get your head in the game man!

Okay, I know this is a bit old, but I still had to post it. I originally heard Senator Ted Steven’s speech on an episode of TWiT a couple of weeks ago, but this clip from the Daily Show really sums everything up. Thanks for the link Channa.

Internet Freedom Preservation Act

Senators Olympia Snowe(R) from Maine and Byron Dorgan(D) from North Dakota propose an Internet Freedom Preservation Act.

ISPs would not be allowed to “block, interfere with, discriminate against, impair or degrade” access to content or to prevent users from attaching devices of their choosing to the network. They would also be barred from making special deals with content providers to ensure speedier delivery or improved quality of service.”

This is a huge step towards internet neutrality.
